At 18 years old, I found myself traveling around the United States in search of my passion. I landed in Santa Fe, New Mexico, the heart of the southwest. When I walked the streets and alleyways of Santa Fe, and saw the combination of Mediterranean and traditional Native American architecture, it inspired me to read and understand more about the past and present. There is no better way to mix that inspiration, than through the art of jewelry. The emergence of this career path, is when I knew I found the new me. There was a feeling inside, a fire of inspiration and excitement that was ignited. To keep this flame burning, it was going to require an important step, knowledge and education. And so, I began to learn the technique of jewelry design. My teacher saw true potential in me, and that I could pick up a technique, but to develop into excellence, I needed to have patience.

The jewelry process begins as a flash of an idea, down to a piece of paper. You work hours and days to reach a complete piece. It is both a beautiful and tedious process, I came to fully appreciate. To take it to the next level, and perfect the foundational skills, I completed a degree from the American Jeweler Association. After much experimenting making my own designs, I found the combination of natural stones, mixed with precious metal, to be the most fitting reflection of me. I was led to school again, but this time to GIA, to speak the language of stones. The combination of organic material, God’s creation and hand selecting the best of it, to make it a piece that will last through eternity.

When I followed the calling to come to Cody, WY, it did not even take me two days to decide, this is my new home. The surroundings of nature, the deserts and mountains, the water and volcanoes. It is where I founded my art studio and showroom. Today my work is displayed in fine galleries from Aspen to Vail, Santa Fe to Scottsdale. I am blessed in my success as a jeweler and to this day feel a passion for this craft, and a joy in sharing this part of me with others. I would love to thank every client that has allowed my work to be a part of their story.
